My Year of Supernatural Good Result

• By Gideon Adegunle

Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you
– Joshua 1:3

Introduction

At the threshold of a new year, God often calls His people not merely to activity, but to alignment. The book of Joshua opens at such a moment a transition between promise and possession, prophecy and manifestation.

Israel stood at the edge of the Promised Land with a clear word from God. The land was already promised, yet it had not yet been possessed. What stood between them and their inheritance was not the absence of God’s power, but the requirement for faith-filled obedience and intentional participation.

In the same way, 2026 must not be a year driven by human strength, resolutions, strategies, or luck, but a year where the results of our efforts are clearly traceable to God’s supernatural involvement.

This is what it means to declare:

“My Year of Supernatural Good Result.”

It is a declaration that says:

“I will labor, but God will distinguish my outcomes.”

“I will move, but heaven will back my steps.”

“I will sow naturally, but I will reap supernaturally.”

Joshua’s journey teaches us that good results are not accidental, they are produced through intentional faith alignment.

Good Result Comes from Intentional Expectation

The Bible records that faith is the substance of things hoped for (Hebrews 11:1). Substance means evidence before manifestation. Therefore, good results begin with clear expectation.

Just as Hebrews 11 reveals, those who obtained good reports did so by faith expressed through specific spiritual actions. To yield supernatural good results in 2026, Joshua’s story highlights five key principles.

1. Clear Vision

Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you.
Joshua 1:3

God did not give Joshua vague promises. He gave him defined territory. Clear vision determines the direction of faith. Where vision is blurred, results become delayed.

Joshua knew: Where he was going, What God had promised and What success looked like

The Bible confirms this principle:

Write the vision, and make it plain
Habakkuk 2:2

Supernatural results require clarity of purpose. You cannot obtain good results in areas you have refused to define.

In 2026, clarity will precede acceleration.

2. Prophetic Insight

There shall not any man be able to stand before thee… as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee.
Joshua 1:5

Joshua did not move by assumptions; he moved by prophetic instruction. Prophetic insight reveals: Timing, Strategy, Direction and Spiritual advantage

When Israel faced Jericho, God did not give them a military strategy; He gave them a prophetic pattern (Joshua 6). Obedience to divine instruction produced results that human wisdom could not explain.

The Bible says:

Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but He revealeth His secret unto His servants
Amos 3:7

In this year, instruction will matter more than effort. Hearing God clearly will save years of struggle.

3. Actions of Faith

Prepare you victuals; for within three days ye shall pass over this Jordan.
Joshua 1:11

Faith is not passive belief; it is obedient movement. Joshua commanded preparation before the Jordan parted. Movement preceded manifestation.

Scripture agrees:

Faith without works is dead.
James 2:17

Faith acts as though God’s word is already settled. It prepares before evidence appears. Supernatural good results follow those who step out in obedience, even when conditions seem unfavorable.

4. Obedience and a Holy Lifestyle

Only be strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law
Joshua 1:7

Disobedience at Ai produced defeat (Joshua 7), even though the promise was intact. Holiness is not legalism; it is alignment.
Obedience preserves spiritual authority.

The Word declares:

If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.
Isaiah 1:19

5. High Worship and Praise

And it shall come to pass.. the wall of the city shall fall down flat.
Joshua 6:5

Praise completed what obedience initiated. Jericho fell not by swords, but by spiritual atmosphere. Worship released divine intervention.

The Bible affirms:

Praise ye the Lord, for His mercy endureth forever.
Psalm 136:1

Praise magnifies God above opposition. Worship shifts results beyond human limitation.

Conclusion

Joshua teaches us that God gives promises, but men walk into results. Just as Israel moved from promise to possession, 2026 is not meant to be a year of potential without proof.

Supernatural good results emerge when: Vision is clear, Instruction is followed, Faith is acted upon, Obedience is maintained and Worship is sustained

The Victim Mindset

The victim mindset is a stronghold of thought that keeps believers living below the victory Christ has already obtained. While pain may be real and injustice undeniable, they are never meant to become a believer’s identity or position. A believer does not overcome by rehearsing wounds but by renewing the mind with truth. Freedom begins when thinking aligns with Christ’s finished work, responsibility replaces helplessness, and faith speaks from a position of victory.
